- as an adjunct to support specific osteoporosis therapy in patients at risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.

- Calcium carbonate can impede the absorption of tetracycline preparations taken at the same time (drugs from the group of antibiotics). For this reason, tetracycline preparations should be administered at least 2 hours before or 4-6 hours after taking the drug.

- Medications containing bisphosphonates (used to treat osteoporosis) or sodium fluoride (used to strengthen tooth enamel) should be taken at least three hours before the preparation.

- Calcium can affect how levothyroxine works. For this reason, levothyroxine should be taken at least four hours before or four hours after the preparation.

- The effect of quinolone antibiotics can be impaired if calcium is taken at the same time. Therefore, take quinolone antibiotics two hours before or six hours after this supplement.
