Fresubin 2 kcal Drink is a protein-rich drink with a very high energy density (400 kcal per EasyDrink).

The mixed carton contains 3 variants of Fresubin 2 kcal fiber DRINK (fiber-free), (flavors: vanilla, apricot, forest fruit) and 3 variants of Fresubin 2 kcal fiber DRINK (rich in fibre), (flavors: chocolate, lemon and cappuccino).

Enteral nutrition is generally indicated in the absence or limited ability to adequate normal nutrition, in particular

– dietary treatment and prophylaxis of protein-energy malnutrition in:&am<10;- geriatric patients 
– consuming diseases, e.g. B. Cancer, HIV AIDS 
– dialysis patients 
– Wound healing disorders, e.g. B. decubitus · perioperative patients 
– liver insufficiency and ascites 
– cardiovascular diseases 
– chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

FRESUBIN 2 kcal fresubin drinks mixed Contraindications 
– disease states with fundamental contraindication of enteral nutrition, such as atony of the small intestine and ileus. 
– Severe organ-specific disorders such as hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency and acute pancreatitis. 
– Congenital metabolic disorders of the nutrients contained in Fresubin® 2 kcal DRINK

FRESUBIN 2 kcal fresubin drinks mixed Dosage 
– Average daily dose for supplementary nutrition: 
               400 – 600 ml, corresponds to 2 – 3 EasyDrinks 
– Average daily dose for complete nutrition:
               800 – 1000 ml, corresponds to 4 – 5 EasyDrinks

FRESUBIN 2 kcal fresubin drinks mixed storage at
room temperature. Opened containers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
