Composition:
100 g iodine tincture contain: Iodine solution containing ethanol 100 g.
Indications IODINE TINCTURE, tincture of iodine for use:
disinfection of the skin before injections and incisions; disinfection of wounds.
Contraindications:
Iodine solution containing ethanol should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to iodine and in newborns (especially premature babies) and infants up to the age of one year. In patients with an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism), care should be taken when treating larger areas of skin, as iodine is absorbed through the skin.
